To celebrate this milestone, I'm going to push the boat right out, and round up as much action for as many Sinclair and Sinclair-related computers as is possible. As well as the ZX80, ZX81 and all the various Spectrum models from the 16K Issue 1 to the +3, the competition is also open to the QL, the Spectrum Next, the clones from Eastern Europe (and further beyond)... and maybe even the Z88, MK14, SAM Coupé, Jupiter Ace... as long as it has some traceable Sinclair DNA, anything goes! LATEST NEWS: 9 July 2023: In "a crazy few days in the world of Crap Gaming", my contributions feature heavily in Rich Pelley's long-promised article on the CSSCGC for the Guardian - but also, 2023 host Jamie Bradbury has given an interview to Canada's CBC Radio, which is also available in print. 3 May 2023: The rumours were true: Retro Gamer magazine has published another CSSCGC article in its Homebrew section, this time with 2022 host Andy Jenkinson. Three of my contributions from that competition have their screens shown - Super Mario Fruit Machine 2 most prominently, and Error Report Roulette and the Lambda 8300 port of Grumphers featured in the section for the reviewer's favourites. 1 January 2023: The 2023 CSSCGC has opened. This year's host is Z88 aficionado Jamie Bradbury. 24 April 2022: The map of The Ring of the Inka is available at Pavel Plíva's maps.speccy.cz. 23 April 2022: The Spectrum is 40 years old today!
