V1.1: (lost in action) Controls changed from the awful cursor keys to QAOP, with M to jump. Used the # character for a fence instead of the blank square. Changed the death sequence to "Ooooaarr..." (etc). Added pause sequence: press H to hold, the farmer turns into a flashing P. Any key to restart. V2.0: The "magic apple" feature was way too easy. Bonuses are now awarded for eating five "green" apples, with an extra random chance of gaining an extra life. Extra lives are still awarded for completing an orchard. Added a finite number of orchards (7) - previously, orchards 8 and 9 were coloured white, and the game crashed with "K Invalid colour" on orchard 10 due to the program specifying INK 10. Added an end sequence. V3.0: Number of orchards increased to 10, still coloured according to the orchard number, but with 8-10 defined as black/white, blue/cyan and red/yellow respectively. Fences now given as bright colours. Incorporated orchard number into the bottom fence, and the score at the top becomes a "top fence"; also, tidied the score display with spaces - previously, 10 jumps or lives would decrease to 90. Changed the end sequence according to the number of apples. V3.1: Tidied up the instructions at the beginning, with H=hold and R=restart added to the list of keys. Added a bolder title to the end sequence, with changed colours on the end screen text. Hold sequence now prints "PAUSED" in the orchard number space. End sequence and death now prompt "Press SPACE for another go" instead of stopping the program. V3.2: Bug fix: "Press SPACE for another go" now clears the screen before starting again. V4.0: (in progress) New jump sequence: the chomper turns into a star, PRINT coordinates are translated to PLOT, and a line is drawn in cycling colour from start point to destination. The rather silly "invisible apples" feature has been removed. "Press I for instructions or S to start" at the beginning of the game. Still to do: ; 128K sounds, using the "M" channel to make the chomping sound; extra scores at the end for the number of green apples collected, plus jumps and lives remaining: can you earn enough cash to buy your way out of jail at the end?
