DJ SET AT WAKE UP SCREAMING: 25.11.2008
Everything had to end somewhere, and here was my final DJ set in Cambridge. It remains, most likely, the only time Oakenshield has ever been heard there. And I couldn't leave without one last piece of grade-A trolling - fill the dancefloor with drunk metalheads with a bit of classic Judas Priest, and then give them glam Pantera and watch them all enjoy it without knowing what it was.
In the Týr track lay a clue as to where my talents would be used in the future. Just over five months later, on 1st May 2009, the first episode of The Hammer Of Retribution Ogg-Cast was released, and the rest is history.
