And so, a year after I left Cambridge, I returned for my first set as a visitor. And, with The Great Folk Metal Awakening (thanks to Elvenking's set with Martin Walkyier at Bloodstock in 2002, followed by an introduction to Ensiferum in early 2003), same the first signs of what was to unfold over the next decade, and beyond... though with enough nods to my recent past.
