METAL STORM II: AN INTRODUCTION TO REALITY

There was never supposed to be a Metal Storm series, but the name was resurrected via a cry for help from an indie-punk from Nottingham Rocksoc who wanted to know more of the ways of metal. Thinking that a raw beginner would find it tricky to warm instantly to the delights of Minotaur, Dismember and Hypocrisy from the Bang The Head That Doesn't Bang, I set about on this definitive compilation of "an education in metal for beginners", from the beginnings to what was close to the present day at the time (and is now 20 years ago...) when nu-metal kicked in and ruined everything.
None of these are the most obvious "hit singles" that would be on one of those "The Best Dad Rock / What We Think Is Old School Metal Album In The World... Ever! Until The Next One", but I was also trying to cram on as many bands as possible without sacrificing quality.
