To qualify for this challenge your game must take place entirely within a single 8×8 pixel square;

or

entirely within a square of 8×8 "chunky pixels" made of 4×4 character square grid using only the standard Sinclair block graphics characters:

You may include decorative borders and status information (lives, score etc) outside of this area, but all gameplay should take place within the 8x8 grid.

Machine: Any

To qualify for this challenge, your game must be based on, inspired by a BBC One (or the BBC Television Service) programme shown on the day you were born according to http://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk, if there is no listing for the day you were born - then choose a programme from the next available day. If you were born during World War II or before 1936 then choose a radio programme from the BBC Home Service or BBC National Programme. If your birth predates the invention of broadcast radio then you are excused this challenge.


Stand at E's

Machine: Spectrum 16/48K

To qualify for this challenge, your game must be written entirely in standard Sinclair BASIC without using any keywords, tokens or symbols accessed using Extended Mode. So your game cannot contain any of the following:
