This is the last version I ever found, mainly due to the one main problem of Amiga emulation - the Kickstart ROM, the Amiga's version of the ST's TOS, is still copyrighted to Commodore and is not freely available. Getting a free copy will require a visit to a warez site which I'm not going to link to, or the law will be round my house.
One advantage the Amiga version has over the ST version is that multiple sound effects can be played simultaneously, so when you shoot one of the baddies you hear the bullet AND the "waaaaaaa" every time. Well, I think it rocks at least.
The most popular emulator for the Amiga is UAE - but as this is the original Linux version, I suspect most people running Windoze will need WinUAE. The latest version of this (at last update) is version 0.8.25; since version 0.8.17, WinUAE has had a save-snapshot facility similar to that on WinSTon 0.4 and many of the 8-bit emulators.
Two more emulators I know of are WinFellow and Amithlon, but I haven't tried either as WinUAE does the job perfectly well and is easy to use once you get used to how the GUI works. Also, Amithlon is only available to be bought...
Like the Atari ST versions, Amiga games were habitually hacked and cracked by pirates and are widely distributed. So far I have yet to find an Amiga-based site that is as comprehensive as the ST's Little Green Desktop, but as soon as I find one it'll be here.
All versions of WinUAE from 0.8.22 onwards require DirectX 8 or newer. Get hold of that first!

Unsurprisingly, the Amiga version is joystick-based. I haven't got a joystick, but it looks fairly easy to use, in WinUAE at least, where there is a check-box to switch between a real joystick and emulated keyboard controls.
This is a table of the various keyboard layouts in WinUAE that substitute for the joystick:
|A||NumPad 8||NumPad 2||NumPad 4||NumPad 6||NumPad 5||NumPad ENTER|
See the "How to play Rick Dangerous" page to see how to use Rick's arsenal of weapons.
As many Amiga disks were cracked & hacked by pirates and had a cheat menu inserted, there was very little need for any cheat codes. However, my version of Rick 1 has no cheat menu. Typing POOKY on the high score table will let you start on the level you died on. Clearly, this is no use until you can clear South America.
Cheating types among you may also want to use the save-snapshot facility in WinUAE 0.8.17.
The version of Rick 2 I have has a cheat menu inserted, allowing selection of infinite lives, bombs and lasers.
The Amiga graphics are about 99% the same as the Atari ST screenshots, but the colours are slightly different, in Rick 1 at least, so they're all provided here for good measure.
